If you're looking to pay a visit to Indianapolis you've got a real treat in store! There is so much to see and do, with incredible attractions, amazing eateries and great places to stay, that you're sure to be delaying your return flights! Alternatively, if you're visiting on business, you can make the most of Indy with a wealth of business resources, conference centres and boutique hotels to make your stay extra special.

Indianapolis is located in the US state of Indiana and is often called 'Indy', 'The Circle City', 'The Indy City' (a pun on Chicago's title of 'The Windy City'), 'The Racing Capital of the World' and more simply, 'Naptown'. It is the 14th biggest city in the US, so as you might imagine, it has tons of fun things for tourists to get their teeth into. In fact, tourism is an important part of the city's economy and is the home to many conventions and world-famous sporting events such as the Indianapolis 500 car race.

As for attractions you can visit Indianapolis Zoo and see over 350 species of animals in a beautiful 70 acre park which also houses the White River Gardens. You might also wish to visit the White River State Park which is America's only cultural urban state park, which has the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the NCAA Hall of Champions, an IMAX theatre and an outdoor concert venue called The Lawn at White River State Park. It is an absolute must-see for people on a short stay as you can fit in so much in at one great location.

If you're on business at Indianapolis executive suites, you might want to kick back in the evenings with some relaxation in the big city. For music and nightlife you can visit the famous Slippery Noodle established in 1850 which is one of the country's top blues bars with live music every night. For dinner you can try the Adobo Grill for authentic Mexican and sample one of the 90 tequilas on offer.
